The Argonne National Laboratory project used clear and copper anodized finishes in .080 aluminum sheet, with Metal Design Systems’ Series 80 as the preferred attachment system. Series 80, a versatile rainscreen panel system, allows for a wide range of material options, giving architects flexibility in design aesthetics. The project features a mix of same and varying-sized panels. MDSI collaborated with the architect and general contractor to deliver a solution that highlighted the alternating copper anodized panels’ colors.
